Rear Diffusor
I saw this pics of a diffusor on a camaro in a different post. Unfortunatly I don't know which post that was. Does anyone else have more pictures of this car/diffusor. Anyone know who's car that is ?
Is that diffusor a totally custom made piece or is something like that available anywhere ?
Thanks Alex

You want one because the aerodynamics of fbodies are such that the air coming up from under the car constantly batters the rear bumper cover, making it dull and dirty all the time, and in extreme cases that are left unmanaged, makes it faded and dull before the rest of the car. Requires more cleaning and waxing than most of the rest of the car. More common on Firebird/trans am than camaro, I believe due to camaro's more vertical rear valence layout.
3000GTs don't go fast enough to need one for downforce purposes, but they do have them, and I'll bet this is partially why.

Could be wrong but I could have sworn that was part of the idea behind race car design.
The reason I ask is that not all diffusers are that fin style like that picture, so that one may be good for lateral but some others may not be?
