*PICS* WS9 HOOD on my '98 Trans Am
OVerall the hood fit pretty good. In the last pic you can see the gap on the left side is larger than on the right side. Something I will have to live with. The gap on the right side, by the headlight is as large as I could get it to go, and before I adjusted it the headlight would not pop up. So, with the adjusting of the hood and headlight I was able to get the headlight to clear, just barely. As far as the larger gap on the left side, hood/headlight, it is as far forward as it will go, unless I round out the holes with a dremmel tool to make them bigger and get a bigger washer, but if I did that then the right side would come closer and would not allow the right headlight to pop up. Anyways, I think it looks bad *** and I am pleased with the fight. Next up, WS6 lower airbox and MTI clear lid.

Sweet hood. I was planning to buy one from Roger, as he had a few left that people backed out on, but couldn't justify the cash at the time. I was almost over the regret, but you reminded me. Thanks, jackass! hehe.. jk.

Looks good. Don't mind the gap much, just something that kinda comes with the territory of buying aftermarket hoods. It's the overall look that makes it look badass.

Thanks all!
I got the hood from U.S. Exotics ltd. It was on ebay, and Rodger said it was left over from a layaway plan or something. VFN is making a WS9 hood, but it will be the the Outlaw. The outlaw cowl will be around 3 inches high I believe, which is 2 inches higher than the WS9 on my car.

Oh yeah, the hood was new. Also, the hood painting and fitting should be credited to the guy at the body shop, a good friend who does really good work and such on our cars. I just had to spend about an hour tweaking the hood and headlight to get the headlight to pop up.
