Default Center Mount Exhaust

I'm buying a 99 Z28 and this is my 1st 4th gen Camaro (have had 5 TA's) I LOVE the look of CME. Where can i buy the lower valence. I dont want that crappy one i think slp sells. I want the one that was optional on the SS.

This One !

Not this one

Both are SLP items, but the one piece is mucho $$$.

And whatever you do, make sure the damn things are straight. Even that pic above is a bit crooked, and it looks funny.

A word of advice, When you get the dual tips make sure that there is an EXTRA support brace
welded between the two tips b/c I have heard of the tips breaking apart from stress.
Another thing is when putting on the valence, 3M makes some pretty good double sided tape you might want to consider.
Other than that.....CME

Jack, try not to get the quad tips like in that black Z-28 photo. Man if you could duplicate the silver one with the SLP valance and the dual tips...

I love those vintage Z/28 emblems.

Well thats a first. Haven't had anyone say my valence is crooked/funny looking. Maybe its the angle of the pic, or maybe you've got the special eye

I picked mine up for $125 shipped. Keep an eye on ebay, they seem to show up on there pretty often. Also, 6SSPEED is right about adding the support brace if you end up with one of the earlier tips. I believe slp added the extra brace on the later sets because of them breaking apart.

The tips sit really close to the valence, making it look like they are tucked up too far.

I drove the guys at Speed Inc nuts getting mine straight

Guess that's why they charged me $1600

Good lord man, $1600!?! I actually had the shop do them that way, the large gap/low hang that the factory setups have always bugged me. To each his own I guess. Clean *** car by the way

They are actually Magnaflow bullets...the sound clips are posted up on LS1Sounds.com, listed as the Speed Inc. True duals. There are three clips there. My car is stock internals (for now), just bolt ons.
