Throwing SS Badges on a Z28, wrong or right

Just because I said it would cost less than 1K in my case you have to
?Just in case you forgot, here is what you said:
If you don't car about original parts why would anyone pay 4-8k over what they could get the same car and put less than 1k in and be the same car?

I did not mean for it to sound that way I am sorry but I did already mention I had those parts earlier. I guess I should have stated that again.

But, what Tony said kinda sums it up:
Cars are BUILT with an identity, no amount of changing crap around on them makes them into something else. Those that do this stuff are POSERS.
But, what Tony said kinda sums it up:
Someone rebadges it and then when it comes time to trade it in they don't put the old badges back on then the dealer sells it to some unsuspecting person who takes no time to authenticate it and pays the extra $$ for nothing. And I am sure they probley don't tell the dealer it has been rebadged either hoping to get an extra buck out of it.
Or the try to fake it off and sell it outright to someone without telling them.

Heh I love dumb people. But anyways this is how I see it, if its your car and you plan to keep it then do what you want. But if you plan on selling it then dont! cause if I were new to the game and bought your car without checking the fine details. Id be pissed as hell.
And then i would have to put a cap in dat ***.
.....maybe i'll slap some SS badges on my fathers Toyota...put a big ol' spoiler on it and say the badge stands for "Super Spoiler"......LMAO..ppl that pose there cars as something more need to>>>>
Bottom line.
Posers are Posers.
It does not matter what reason you have them on there for, or why you think you need to justify it.
Saying its "not a big deal",or "people can do what they want on thier car" is just an excuse for you to leave them on there.
If I meet somebody at the track and they tell me its not a real SS/WS6, I will be forced to make fun of them.
I love my Z28. I don't want an SS, I never have and I never will.
I got a hood and rims going on my car, and I am proud that its a Z28.

You need to go back to history class. The Super Sport began with the '61 Impala and moved on to the Chevy II (Novas), and Chevelle (Malibus) before the Camaro Z28 ever existed. That is the legend and the heritage. And, that is what Chevrolet is trying to return to.
