Should i take off my Stock RS body kit ?
What's up guy's ? I have a 2000 Z/28 that came with a RS body kit stock from the factory ! I have been tossing it around on weither or not i should take it off or not. I like it but i also like the camaro look without the kit on it. Should i take it off ? I will be adding a SS hood and the CME exhaust with valance so keep that in mind. Also how many of you guys have taken you're off ? isnt there a ton of little holes that will be visible ?
Thanks for the info in advance!

HELL NO! Everyone on here always tell new peps to lower the car, well the body kit helps the with the lowered look and not everyone has the kit.
P.S. The holes where the kit is put into place look way worse!

It isnt too hard to install them. I would have to say from what i have heard from most people it is hadrer to get the stock stuff off rather then put then long tubes on.
justaniiiuzion i figure you can run lowering springs with lt's but i dont want to scrape and have a crappy ride.

I think you should remove it immediately and then ship it to me to get rid of it for you
Seriously, I'd keep it on. The holes aren't that much of a pain to cover if you remove it, just a little body work. It does make the car stand out a little from all the rest.
If you do decide to remove it, let me know. I just broke the side valance on my Z28

I think the kit looks nice on. Keep it if you like it.
If you go to remove it, you may find holes that need filling on the underside of the rockers (they're are on TA's not sure about camaros) AND/OR uneven paint "wear" or fading that would have to be addressed.

Yeah, change the front piece, you'll be changing the back with the CME so that's not an issue. Our cars just look better with the extra wrap around the bottom of the car, of course that's just my opinion though, I prefer a more customized/unique look for a car, not a fresh-off-the-lot look.

personally, I hate it. I'd take it off and I doubt the holes will be very noticeable. If they are it'll prolly be very easy and cheap to do a decent job of hiding them, but I'm sure people will see them if they look closely.
