no pics... sorry.
It looks alright. wouldnt look good on a TA seeing as how it would be on the ground but on a camaro without a body kit, it would prolly look bad ***.

a company made them, they were called boom tubes i think
they have flat retangular shape (the tips). they are really loud, some people like how they look, some dont.
can really put them on a lowered car

The only way I could see side exhaust on an F-body looking good would be to use some stock 4th-gen. Z28 tips and even then it would be kinda hard to pull off. Interested in seeing some pics though....

I'd say a fabricated, flat slash tip (like 1"x6" stainless) to
clear the rocker panels transitioning to 3" pipe would be
kind of clean. Want the gas directed rearward, somewhat.
Wonder about making a whole, fabricated flat chamber
muffler / tip combo that tucks up under the floor pan,
hooks up nice to a Dr. Gas X and minimally compromises
ground clearance. Check the sketch:

yea dr.gas makes boom tubes but i was thinking along the lines of maybe a tip coming through the side skirts (aka gound effects) kinda like a roush mustang or lightining. Photoshop Anyone?

Ive seen side exhaust on a camro befo, it was done rig and you need to make sure the exhaust tucks up nice and close and doesnt hang at all. Make sure its polished or somthing so it brings out that look.
It does look really go when doe right, he had SLP long tubes and was lowerd 2inchs!
Just drive slow over bumps...

That's exactly what a friend and I are doing with our Z28's! His should be done first, I'll post pictures when it's done.
Actually here's a quick picture of his Z28. It's a '96 that he's converted to an LS1 style front end. It's going to paint next week so I should have the final pictures before to long.
If you look at the side skirts just in front of the rear wheels you can see they're cutout for the polished Z28 tips that he's going to have installed.

Only way I think it would look good if there was a body kit fabricated for it along the rocker panels. I think that the 4th Gen F Bodies look better with the pipes coming out of the rear of the car.
