Default Whistler mod color

So I started to do the Whistler mod on some used headlights I purchased from a fellow member. I got them apart OK (aside from a very small crack in the housing )but now I'm wondering what color to paint the inside? I'm thinking flat black. My car is NBM. Any suggestions on the best color to use?

i havent seen it done yet....but i think it would look pretty good if they were painted to match the body color. that is if its tastefully done. it would look good on pretty much everything except a white or silver car.

Thanks guys. I apologize for putting this in the wrong section. This should probably be in the Appearance section. Mods please feel free to move.

Stephen, Did you also paint the shiny ribbed portion of the headlight? I know I can't paint the reflective section in the back but what about the ribbed section?
Thanks!

yea you paint that section as well, or most people do anyways. only leave the back part unpainted.
