Just want some opinions. Should I paint the top black and the mirrors black like the CETA's or just go with black racing stripes? Here's some pics so far.

B-piller and mirrors would look the best, but wouldn't look good with chrome wheels, you'd need black wheels to pull the look off IMHO... I'd go with stripes.

 

You've got a beautiful car. It's PERFECT just as you have it. If you paint the pillar black or put a skunk stripe on it I would lower the score. The only thing I would do to it now is to shorten the radio antenna. Something less than full stripes like the Blackbird stripes-if you can make them work on the LT1 hood.

The rims are very nice, the ceta panel is great, the tips would be perfect if they were Corsa's (but look good as is), nice swap on the tail lights, and the stance is dead on... I'd say you've got the look, now save for the supercharger. That's what I'm doing.

 

Painted pillars are BLECH! to me but, to each his own. Blackbird stripes would look sweet on there to me. Just enough to add some detail without overpowering the car.

Those pics are a little old, I got tired of the ZR1s. Now I have polished WS6 wheels from a 00' TA. I thought about putting the Blackbird stripes on it, but I wonder how they would look on an Lt1 hood? If anyone has them on an lt1 ws6 let me know and send some pics.

 

You've re-done the rest of the car to make it look like 98+...may as well do the !LT1 mod next...

 

You know, the '96-'00 Ws6 rims are my favorite rims offered on a factory car. I'm not sure if I like the chrome Firehawk rims or the pre '01 WS6 rims more.

I LOVE the LT1 WS6 cars. I vote to keep it just like you have it and add about 150 more horsepower to the engine.

I dont think I would paint the piller and mirrors black. There is already an LT1 red TA that looks like what you are thinking of doing (dirtybird).

It looks good with his black wheels, but I think you should leave your paint as is and get some black bird stripes. Maybe do the nightshades paint on your amber front side marker lenses.

Oh and Firehawk#608, I love my supercharger lol... best mod ever. I would probably go with ATI if I had to do it over, just for the underhood appearance and no need for oil hook ups to the unit

 

Well guys, it looks like I'll be going with the blackbird stripes. I saw a red TA with the top painted black and I didn't like it that much. I did find a site that sells the blackbird stripes for LT1 WS6s for a good price. They have a few pics of cars with them also. I'll post some new after I get them.

Hey "RollTideTA," what is that nightshades paint you're talking about and where can I get it? I've been wanting to black out those front sidemarkers for a while now.
