so would this work o nlets say hyperdark silver wheels? Would that stuff strip off my hyperdark silver and bring it to the aluminum finish, then polish it up?

I dont think it would work on painted rims cuz you dont know whats underneath. Powerball took a lot of elbow grease out of doing it by hand. Thanks fellas.

I was surprised by how much just removing the clear coat did...the polishing just kind of toped it off.

So was the clearcoat gone off the wheels pre-stripping? It doesn't look like it and if it wasn't then you removed it and now you're gonna have to polish them a lot more.

Regardless they look good.

Yes I removed the factory clearcoat and yes I know it will be more work to keep up with them...but with rims that look like this, plus the time I already spend cleaing my car, I'm not worried one bit about it.

That's cool. I was just curious. My brother's friend ruined a set of wheels my dad had on one of his trucks by spraying his "chrome wheel cleaner" aka acid on my dad's polished wheels and someone sprayed something on the wheels that were on my old Camaro so I had to polish them ALL the time.

I was wondering if it would do anything to the tires...once the stripper dried it left the tires brown in that spot, but it rinsed right off with the pressure washer so no worries.

Just get them to the shine level you want, and then Zoop Seal them. You will be good to go for a long time.
