Painting LS6 intake
Painting LS6 intake I just got my LS6 intake in the mail and it will be a while before I am able to get it installed. I was thinking about painting it to dress up the engine bay some.
My dad builds industrial heaters for oil refineries so I have access to high temp paint.
Do you think painting it would look tacky?
My car is Sebring Silver and I'd like to paint it gloss black, gloss silver, or chrome. Let me know what you all think.

Nice look. I have a silver car and just got a LS6 intake. Might paint mine before installation also. Glad I stumbled onto this thread.
Any write up on how to prep and paint the intake? I might take it to a shop I guess. I would love to have it paint matched. How much would something like this cost?

its worth it to have it painted this way, it looks a million times better than any intake ive seen spray painted.
