You definately need new rims. Some TT2's or Boyd Coddington smoothies would look awesome! or even some CCW's

Thanks ya'll! And yes, wheels are definitely up there on the list. I bought the SS last August and two of the rims were scuffed pretty bad as well. Trying to save for a house, so its a tad difficult. In due time, I'll definitely have more mods done....

I love hockey stick stripes but sorry those are just too wide (fat) in the middle and toward the end. The only ones that look good on a 4th gen are the GMMG ones IMO. But it's cool if you are happy with them.

I'm the opposite...I think the GMMG ones look like a cheap ebay knockoff attempt at hockey stripes. The "1st gen style" is the only way to go in my mind.

That's my point The tail of the 1st gen stripe is very narrow unlike the ones in the first post above.

1st gen stripe, obviously.........

GMMG on dad's car........... notice the how thin the tail of the stripe is

3rdgendecals.............. notice how FAT the tail of this stripe is? Especially on the front fender, nothing like the 1st gen stripe.

I think the one's on your Dad's car flow better with the lines of the car on the quarter panel. The fat curve on the other one just doesn't look right.

Don't forget that these "FAT" stripes are vinyl stickers.
I'm sure your Daddys stripes where painted on top of the base coat color and then cleared...not everyone can have that done just yet.

I agree that the GMMG one's look better but that doesn't mean yours don't look killer either. The GMMG ZL1 looks better than every other Camaro IMO, that doesn't mean that other Camaro's don't look good.

I really dig the red on black combo, I've never seen it. Everyone always goes with silver. I would like to see some classic chrome "SS" emblems in place of the "330 hp" logo.

I'm kinda partial to the red & black combination myself.

Nice looking mod, Dan!

Thanks all!

At first I thought the red woudl be too much, but it really isnt.

I was planning on moving my current red/black SS badges where the 330 hp is, but it was just too narrow. Once I get chrome wheels down the line, a set of chrome SS badges will really set it off nicely!
