well the seats are like 700-800 bucks and i think the seat covers are about 650, so your better off just buying a whole leather set off of ebay or a seller on this forum. much less work, and the price is about the same. the seats will drop right in, all the power lines are there and the mounting brackets are the exact same.

I've got a pewter metallic formula with black cloth.

Maybe I could go with a charcoal leather instead of black to reduce the heat???

I don't mean to hijack, but....

I have the cloth interior and replaced the black cloth in the door panels with silver stock-like cloth that I got at a fabric store for $5 or $6 a yard. I bought 4 yards (in case of mistakes and to have left over) and only used about half.

Here is the link to the follow-up that I used:
http://www.lastofthebreed.com/Instal.../DoorPanel.htm

I deviated a bit though. I used 2-part LockTite plastic epoxy to re-attach the panel instead of melting/screwing anything. Just mix it up and put a blob over each cut plastic peg/mount (and keep some pressure on the panels until the epoxy hardens). I didnt use contact cement for the whole thing either, only the edges that get folded over so that I didn't get any glue bleeding through the cloth. I used some "carpet tape" also around the edge that doesnt get folded over to help hold things in place.

Back on topic...
Options:
a) You can get your stock cloth seats recovered in leather (there are some kits available)
b) Buy Leather seats (possibly whole interior) from For Sale section or eBay
c) Buy aftermarket leather seats
d) Buy Leater seats from another car and make them fit

Best bet...
Option (a) or (b)

You could get aftermarket front seats. They are nice and comfy and then you can get covers for the rear seats or just fold it down all the time.

Aftermarket seats are a thousand time more comfortable than the factory/crap F-body seats.

just find some1 to trade seats. I am considering trading mine + cash for some cloth seats + cash or black leather if there is such a thing because mine are tan and when u r looking at the car from the outside the car looks kind of wierd w/ tan seats sticking up and they really don't match the rest of the car
