most people make them, its pretty easy/cheap to do. I did mine thru a friends shop for a total of $180 (purchase price of a used panel and all the prep work).

I have my original rear fascia for sale if you are interested. Its in excellent condition.

You can't just buy a "Berger" panel. It's just a stock panel panted satin black with the stainless Camaro inserts and the by Berger badge on it. You can buy all the stuff and do it yourself.

You can buy a new rear panel from GM, have it painted satin black this can all be done for under $200 (www.gmpartsdirect.com for the panel approx $120-$130 shipped, and $50 to paint it). We did mine for a tech article for WCA, I took mine to my local dealership and they painted it for $50.

I added BMR hi-polished letters, and the red bowtie to the rear panel all in all I think the cost for the panel "as seen" was about $250.

My above pics with the spoiler also show my self-made Berger panel...

It takes all of 5 minutes to pull your panel off... another 5 minutes to scuff it up a little with a scotch brite pad (no primer needed) and then maybe 20 minutes (including waiting bewteen coats) of spraying it (our of a Dupli-Color Low-Gloss Black spray can), let it dry for another 25 minutes and then another 5 minutes re-installing it... for a total cost of under $10 and 1 hour of your time.

C'mon guys, quit turning small projects into $200 monsters...

It's really easy... Just remove any old emblems REALLY well... Then take a scotch brite (scuff) pad and just scuff the area (really easy, minimal work you are just making the paint dull basically, no need to go crazy here).

Wipe it down well (use prep-sol or anything that evaporates to make sure no dust is left on it from sanding) then spray it in light overlapping coats (in other words you want the spray pattern to overlap... think of it like mowing a yard, you don't just mow in rows, you overlap your last row to make sure it was covered).

Always spray PAST the object also (in other words don't start or stop spraying while your are still spraying the object, it could leave spat marks).

REALLY simple... I personally think the closest color I've found to the Berger panels is Dupli-Color Low Gloss black (even the engine enamel if that's all you can find).

Flat or satin black will look WAY to dull...

Make sure and order some real stainless steel or chrome CAMARO inserts (no vinyl, they are too recessed to look right) or else the panel looks like $hit all naked

Your car will look KILLER with this done! I cant' wait to see a grey car with it so do it and post some pics
