Default Installing CyberWhite fog lights on TA

I've found 2 links on LS2.com to a walkthrough, but both are down. My problem is that the mounting bracket provided in the kit not only sucks, but it won't mount up to where the stock mount was. Is there a way to get the CyberWhite fog lights to mount up to the stock mounts? A walkthrough link would be best...search didn't help me.

Thanks for any help guys! By the way, I used to have a membership here but I can't remember my old pw, and my old email acct is closed lol.

I think people usually mod the factory bracket to work with the new housing

Thanks, that's what I've started doing while I wait for a walkthrough link (if there is one). Shouldn't be too hard to mod the factory mount...anyone done this? I'm curious how you did it.

Quick question I believe on the formulas you can do the install through the access panels, how the hell do you do it on a T/A? How easy is it to remove the bumper cover?

The easiest way to get into that area is to flip your headlights up, pull the fuses so they say up and dont drain your battery, and take the black plasic housing around the actual headlight bulbs off. Once they are off you have tons and tons of access to the inner workings of the front bumper.

When i installed mine I pulled out the 3 tabs on the bottom of the front bumper, they are in the center where the bumper curves under. Then you can use something to keep the bumper pried open, I just held it open with one hand and unbolted the bracket with the other. It's a lot easier to see the bracket bolts from the bottom.

Cut me up pretty bad too but I didn't want to keep it pried open, didn't want the bumper to be permanently warped or anything. And I got an eye full of gravel dust lol.

I am getting a copy of the print out I had and will recreate it as soon a possible, the one i had made got deleted off the computer by accident.

I do go in thru the bottem panel and the head of the foglight bracket or top if you will is bent down 90 degrees toward the center of the headlamp pocket and the bracket it attached via the top where the adjuster screw for the factory foglight was. it is also a good time to freshen up the brackets with some FLAT black paint which will help them to dissapear into the bumper visually.
