Default Pics of Blue LED lighted interior

Please post up your pics of your car at night with Blue LED's on the interior of your car if you have them please, planning on doing something similiar and wanted to just re-assure myself basically.

Also, any of you that've done this, Will the LED's at Advanced Auto Parts work fine for this? Or is it just gonna be a half-*** job if I use those? Also, what's the best way to wire them and have a switch for them? I want to keep my stocker interior lights but have these on the side for night driving so that I can have a little more light without have the interiors on constantly...

Thanks,
Caleb

I just did the LED's in the door. Haven't gotten around to the rest of them yet.

You can see how bright the LED is shinning on my leg! lol I used the brightest led's I could get at RadioShack.

If youre asking me, it was simple, I just cut out the bulb then got a LED and a compatable resistor and wired them in place of the bulb. That goes for the switches too.

Isn't the door-handle light already a LED ?

If not, what value resistor do I need ? The resistor wires in series to the (+) side of the LED, right ?

Same here. Although I haven't gotten around to doing the switches yet and the Guages are Indiglo.

Nope, its a cheezy little bulb. You can calculate your resistor with a LED calculator.

The source voltage should be 12v, might want to check with a meter to be sure.

Whoops I never meant to hijack the thread. If you do a search on "CarPC" in this forum it will be one of the first threads to pop up.

those are the only pics that i have. i only replaced three lights. the 2 lights in the map lights.. (where the rear view mirror is) and the dome light in the back.. that is it!

the first is a comparrisioon of the LEDs Vs. stock amber lighting..

You can get resistors and build your own LEDs or just buy them all from superbrightleds. They even have a chart that'll tell you which bulbs are needed for which car and where they go. Thats where i got all my LEDs for my interior. I have a TA interior but i didn't like the way the car would light up orangish. I wanted blood red so i ordered red LEDs from there and they plug right in and are really pretty cheap. For my map lights i bought 9 bulb basson LEDs that plug right into the mirror. For the rear dome light i bought one of their 24 bulb LED panels and it plugs right into the factory wiring. It lights my car up like a friggin spot light when the dome lights are on.
