I had a Colgan Car Bra on my 99 Ram Air TA, as well as one for my 01 Z/28

They fit great, a nice soft backing so it will not scratch the paint.

Are you going to use a bra just for this trip? If you are 3m has some adhesive stuff that you just stick on and peel off when you are done with it or duplicolor makes a spray on and wash off called shield. This way you won't have to worry about any scratching from a bra. not sure how well they work, i never used them. Just some cheaper options for you.

might do the spray on just to get across the country but i would like a real one due to the fact the oklahoma has alot of open freeways and where i am gonna live for a while is about 45 miles from the city with mostly big rig traffic.

I live in OK and driving on the freeways isn't bad, I drive about 30 miles to work everyday and I haven't had any chips yet. knock on wood. It's really up to you, I just don't like the look of bra's. Just my 2 cents. where will you be living?
bboyferal: are you talking about an actual bra or the ones I mentioned? the both I mentioned you just clean the front really well and either stick it on or spray it on. the spray on one will be more work because you will have to mask off some areas.

The colgan bra is what I have also. Very tight fit, I got mine from the sponsor on ls1 tech.

If you get one that isn't a tight fit, and it flops around they will scratch the hell out of your car, seen it first hand. But it was a lose fit and it flopped around. I have no problems with mine. I have had rocks hit the front of mine from trucks on interstate 95 and the bra works.
