Default Rebaging my SS

Would it be ghey to re-badge my SS as a z28. I am so disgusted with GM lately slapping the SS badge on evry damn car they make. And only a Camaro can be a Z28.. Since all v8 camaros started life as a Z28 I thought it would be okay..

That would be GAY! Keep them on there. Its true that only a CAMARO can be a Z28, but yours is a REAL SS.

I say do it for the sake of people saying you should of bought an SS. Ya know they are faster than the Z/28's Or just take them off and leave em off. Tell everyone it's just a V6. I got alot more ricers that way before I put the oldschool badges on.

Be true to the CAMARO heritage, your car is a SS, be proud.
Don't worry about the IMPALA SS, MALIBU SS or the COBALT SS, you know that you car is a performer, keep them on or take them off, don't rebadge it.

how sad is that, that you want to change the badges, just leave them on. You'd be discrasing(spell check) your baby by taking it back down to Z28 status. just my .02

I agree completely about the Z/28 badges, and the fact that GM is whoring out the SS name for cars that don't deserve it. But it's an SS, not a Z28. If you're going to take the badges off, don't replace them with anything - just go sleeper

I love it when people stand on their little soapbox about how the SS is "better" than a Z28.

"Take it down to Z28 level" hahaha So you think the appearance and VERY slight performance enhancements make the "SS" a BETTER car...sorry but I disagree. Its a ******* trim level, if it were like the difference between a base model C6 and a C6 Z06 then that would be something to get your pecker hard about but the difference between an SS and a Z28...come on.

Get over yourself and your factory options. Obviously the precious "SS" badge has been carried on so well by GM (sarcasm), sure is something to be proud of...
