what car would you use as a.. sleeper. I was going to work this morining thinking about getting my lt1 back. I flipped it about 2years ago and now I am waiting on funds for paint. Everything is back together but sometimes I wonder what would be the best sleeper to put my lt1 in. What do you guys think would be the best sleeper and how you would set it up? If the miata was bigger I would love to put a 305 in it, all that power, rearwheel drive it'll be a badass go-kart.

A lot of people put 8 cylinders in Miatas. People have done such a good job at swaping engines some look like they came from the factory with an ls1.
As for me...I've always wanted to build a Fiero. Nothing too extreme, just a little blown 3800 series engine from a GTP with all the bells and whistles. I would use it as a road racer/auto-x car but I'm sure it would surprise a lot of people on the street.

probably a supercharged Ford Probe GT. They have a pretty peppy little v6 in em and you can supercharge them and make decent power for that little car. They are pretty light and handle pretty well and no one would would it was fast at all.

I saw a turbo charged station wagon I wanted to get had wood paneling and everything it was pretty quick. These days though if you get a honda and put the wings and all the other ricer stuff it would be a sleeper once it was made fast by your LT1. Think about it everyone sees those POSs and they pick on them (not like they don't deserve it) but if you actually made one fast with the chevy power under the hood I thinnk it would be a comparible sleeper car cause no one would expect such a riced out POS to be fast.
