Here, go ask if it's ok to put an SS hood and Spoiler on a camaro than put SS badges on

I myself have the hood and spoiler, but still rock my z28 badges. I will not put an SS badge on the car.

Don't do it, it's not a factory WS6, sport the look sure, looks badass, but def do not badge it as one

Putting emblems on a car that aren't what the car is, makes you a poser. The hood, wheels, etc... are all styling things and generally accepted. When you badge a car like something it isn't, that is where it crosses the line with most enthusiasts. Especially the hosers that try to sell a vehicle and claim it is something it isn't.

It is the same level of cheese factor as putting "Type R" on a base Civic, or the Cobra emblems on a Mustang GT.

Badging a non-WS6 car as a WS6 is frowned upon by most. If someone does add a hood and wheels to make it look like a WS6 then the choice should be WS7 or WS9 badges that you can get readily.

i dont see why anyone would have a problem with someone else doing it. notice everyone who doesn't like it are the ones who own WS6's. are you afraid someone who paid $3000 less is going to take some of your head turn attention away? what if i put wood siding on a house that isnt a log cabin? am i a "poser?" forget that. i think you can put whatever you want on your car that you thinks looks good. now selling it as a WS6 i def disagree with! but hell, the next buyer might like the fact that it looks like a ws6 but is way cheaper.

have a friend that has a reg ta. he got the ws7 hood and got the suspension upgrade for the ws6 and put ws6 badges on it. i told him its cool and all but idthink he should have ws6 badges. he asked y. i told him that its bein a "poser." he understood but still sports the badges. i think it is what it is, it doesnt change. i wouldnt like i if someone posed a hawk, bc its not if it didnt come from the lot as one. i dont care if u got the components to make it one, it is what it is

I think its best to be proud of the car you buy, not make it into the car you wish you did buy. It's a T/A and thats kickass, it will beat on 90% of the cars out there. There really is no need to badge a car different except to make people think you have something your don't. The hood is one thing because that is a styling issue, but the badges don't add anything to a car unless you are just trying to play it off as something its not.

I dont think you should put the ws6 badges just because its really i T/A. If i had a z28 i would put ss spoiler and hood but i would leave the z28 badges.
