It does look like you've got some decent parts sitting around for once. With the -2cc valve relieves, what size combustion chamber are you running on the heads? Also, what cylinder heads are you running? Looks like you got a new set.
From a distance I'm going to say a set of 243's ported, and an upgraded valvetrain. The big question is whether they are 65 or 70 cc chambers. If you plan on running a turbo (maybe) down the road, then your going to have a tough time preventing that from detonating with the 65 chamber if you decide to add much boost. Also, the camshaft is the next thing that comes into mind. Don't be shy, let us know.

sc area
A small town called North, South Carolina.
No peanut butter yet, but I did get a splash of bud light in there for good luck!
Gotta order head gaskets, the GM MLS gaskets are too thick for my build, the quench area with these pistons was .049, that was too much. Look out cometics.
For someone whos doing this build, I have stock length scat h-beams, and forged diamond 2-cc relief pistons, and my measured piston height came out of be +.004. (piston sticks out of the cylinder bore .004")
The heads are going back to the machine shop today to get milled down to the correct cc, right now they are at a measured 68cc, I'm figuring out my compression now with cometic .040 gaskets, and that'll tell me what cc to get them milled to, and my quench area will be at .036, SWEET!

update
Didn't get pics, I was too busy.....
Had a couple of bugs to begin with, first off, I forgot to plug in the camshaft position sensor, had a brake fluid leak, EVAP pump on side of intake was making an aweful noise, headers was smoking off residual oils from handling them, notihng too big though.....she started right up, just didn't have any RPM indication on the tach.
Got the bugs fixed soon after initial start-up, got it up to temp, drained oil and changed oil and filter, took it for a test drive with no problems. She doesent want to idle well, but the laptop situation is getting fixed.
Yesterday, I had to go purchase a new laptop, so the next couple days I will be uploading tunercat, mx-scan, and the roadrunner software up on the laptop. If this computer situation is anything like the last episode,I'll be ready to put the laptops in front of the rear tires and do a burnout!
I ended up using felpro head gaskets, .041" thickness, 64cc home ported stock heads, LS2 oil pump, LS2 lifters, LS2 Timing chain, ls6 intake, hooker headers, texas speed ORY pipe, QTP cutout, patriot dual gold springs, diamond forged 3.905 -2cc valve relief pistons, Scat stock length rods, home ported throttle body, hardened pushrods 7.4", stock rockers, and home made limp donkey dick air intake track.
I have about 300 miles on her, once we get 500 on it we'll start to load her up and see how she acts, of course, after we get the laptop up and running with the wideband installed.

Wow, I just took the last 15 minutes to get updated on BOTH threads, and all I have to say is... legendary. dmoss, I love the fact that you do what you want even though people are whining about it. Personally I think it's great that you made your own CAI, did what you wanted appearance-wise, etc. Props, keep it up
