Default New Zaino Products Coming Soon...

It's been talked about on many different detailing forums, but I haven't seen it mentioned here, so I thought I would give those of you who haven't heard the scoop.

Zaino is about to release two new products - Zaino All-in-One (ZAIO) and Zaino Clear Seal (ZCS).

The ZAIO has some light cleaners and abrasives in it as well as some sealant protective qualities. The cleaning ability is pretty nice by hand or by machine. For those of you who remember pre-VOC Klasse AIO, it cleans as well as or better than that did, and I got a very easy two months durability out of it before I topped it. One of the great features of this product is that when used as the prep or base for Z2 Pro or Z5 Pro, ZFX is *not* needed (unless applying mulitple coats at once).

Here's an example of its cleaning ability. After being repainted (goofy single-stage), the headlight pockets on my Camaro tend to oxidize very quickly. I applied ZAIO by hand with a cotton applicator, working the product vigorously for about 1 minute.

Before:

After:

The other new product is Zaino Clear Seal. This product is quite unique in the fact that it is a wipe-on/walk-away product. It is applied to a clean surface, and it doesn't need to buffed off. It dries and cures "clean," with no residue to remove. It works best when applied with a new (dedicated) cotton applicator, spritzed lightly with ZCS, and worked into each panel. When you're finished applying, you can place the applicator in a zip-loc bag and save it for the next time you use ZCS. This product can be used over any Zaino product, and it can also be used over any other polish, glaze, sealant, or wax. It has very good durability on its own, and greatly increases the durability of Z5 Pro and Z2 Pro. It does no hiding or filling and has a clear, glossy appearance.

Here is an example of our Tahoe with ZAIO, Z5 Pro, and ZCS.

I was privileged to do some beta testing for these products, and I can very comfortably give them my recommendation. They are going to be great additions to the Zaino line.

If I can answer any questions, let me know, and I'll do my best.

thanks for the heads up, i was very curious about these.

With ZCS, is this product meant to be an everyday touch up detail spray, like Z6? Or maybe only as a finishing touch after a detail, like Z8? Perhaps something new all together?

With Z6, Z8, and now ZCS, it seems the lines may become a bit blurred as to which product is intended for what. Thanks for the info!

edit: just noticed ZCS that it is to be applied to a clean surface, so Z6 is still its own product.

Sweet, I need to order some stuff from them in the spring and I will try out the ZCS. But will the ZCS allow Z2 and Z5 over it?

Clear Seal is a different product from Z6 and Z8. Clear Seal can be a stand-alone sealant or a durability/appearance recharge. It has roughly 4 months durability on its own.

Z6 has light cleaning abilities and no real protection - just a detail spray. Z8 is a durability booster but adds more to the final appearance.

Yes, all Zaino sealants are completely compatible in any order.

A variety of purposes - as prep for Zaino and anything else that needs cleaning and/or protection. Sal really had it in mind for those who don't have or want a machine.

Do you want to put the ZCS between coats like the z6/z8? Or is the ZCS go on last, then add z8?

It can be any order you chose. It doesn't have to go before, between, or after anything necessarily.

Like the above example with the Tahoe, I used ZAIO, Z5 Pro, and finished with ZCS. Then to maintain, I wash with Z7 and finish with Z6 or Z8.
