Autometer Gauges
Hey, I got an autometer gauge face adapter for the 97-02 camaro dash, and it comes with three 2-1/16 gauge holes, and two 5" holes for the tach and speedo. Can someone tell me which gauge 2-1/16" will work for the fuel level and speedometer 5"? Is the GM fuel level sender the 0 - 90ohm resistance one? I want an Autometer Ultra Lite fuel gauge but don't know which one will work. I assumed this one? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I have a link already posted to the gauge I'm interested in. This is what I have, something similar to this https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ht=camaroboy69
I am just asking what fuel level gauge will work with our GM cars. I want an AutoMeter 2-1/16 Ultra Lite Fuel Gauge, but they have multiple one's for different types of cars. Which will work with our GM's?

I went with an AutoMeter Pro Comp 2 1/16 Fuel Gauge and then just bought a sender that is compatible to that guage. Pulled my tank and placed the sender in there. Of course I also pulled my fuel pump as well because I went with a Holley Electric fuel pump.

Well, I'm trying to avoid pulling my tank if it's possible. Summit's catalog says that the Autometer part # ATM-4314 is compatible with most GM 1965-up, 0ohm empty and 90ohm full.

I'm looking at a fuel level gauge too and found this post,
https://ls1tech.com/forums/wiring-stereo-electronics/445782-so-you-want-replace-your-cluster-aftermarket-gauges.html
It says you need a 33-240ohm gauge and need the sweep reversed. I'm not sure if this information is correct as I haven't found much more information on installing a fuel level.
edit:
Sorry to bring this back from the dead, just wondering if anyone else had any ideas.
