what is the zl1 hood and where can i get it? i thought it was just a 3" ss hood

no one makes it that im aware of but i could be wrong. its wider than the normal SS scoop

The GM John Moss ZL-1 the was built back in 98/99 that hood is not available.

The current 2002 ZL-1 Supercars by GMMG use the GM\SLP SS hood.

The ZL1 hood has a wide, relatively low profile scoop in an LT1-SSish style. Looks awesome.

Suncoast Creations has an SS hood that is a little bit more aggressive than the stock SS hood but not as drastic as the 3in SS hood from VFN. It is not the ZL1 hood, but it is as close as you are going to get.

i have it on my LT1, i got it from DG and it needed tons of work so beware if you buy from them!! email me for a picture of my hood.

Yup, way too flat, looks like a widen SS hood, isnt the real ZL1 hood scoop is about 2 and a half inches or 3 in?
