Default Gotta new hood, and a new problem

got an after market hood(ws9-for a 2001 trans am) from a place down here and he sold me on it for $295
but it has a rise on the passenger side that he said Its not fixable. I was thinking hood pins would probably pin it down but the guy that is painting the hood and blending it said it will eventually crack the fiberglass. So I dont know what to do now cause I dont want to look at the stupid rise. When I apply pressure it goes down flush, so thats why I asked about hood pins.

Anyone else have these problems and possible fixes?

Washers...try installing washers in strategic locations so that the hood fits "looks" more flush and adjust accordingly...???

Got a picture? yeah, most of the time you're going to get what you pay for. Go talk to the people you bought it from...?

I bought my hood for $250 (fiberglass lift-off) and don't have any problems with it. Just try pins. When I'm on the freeway, my hood jumps alittle when I pass big trucks and stuff and haven't had the paint chip or crack. It's been on there for about a year and a half and about 15K miles. ??Try it if the guy won't help you on the hood?? Thanks.
