These where taken as the sun was going down, but the camera compensates for the lighting and its hard to tell how it will look.
The rims shined up a little more then I wanted on the sun-side, but it turned out ok.
Well anyways, the hood didn't line up as good as I would have liked, minus some other things, but overall I am very happy with how it looks and drives.
It really feels big driving it, but not too huge or obnoxious... just perfect for the car...
So without further a do...

I had my SLP HO HOOD for a few weeks before they pianted it. Yea they said it needed to heat cure etc. I guess the materials thy put in the fiberglass need to get hot and let the gasses evaporate. If you paint it before that happens you can have the paint flake off and bubble up.

WOw I really like that ws9 hood. Had I seen that before I think I would have gotten that over my slp hood..
very nice looking.
Though I wonder do the heat extractors make it take longer to heat up during the cold weather?

i dont drive it in the winter so.. i couldnt tell you about the warming up issue. its a 3 inch rise. i feel its way bigger from inside the car. i can barely see over it! if its standing alone it doesnt look bigger, but if its parked with other cars with stock hoods, its looks awesome and much taller!!!!

I was just reading through this thread, and I realized something people might not know. VFN uses OEM grills for the nostril opening in the ws6 hoods. This, of course, means that if you wanted to upgrade to stainless steel grills you could because they are also made to OEM specifications. I'm not sure about other fiberglass companies, but I'm pretty sure VFN may be one of the only companies to even offer grills. This is a huge plus if your looking for that OEM look.
