Default Post ur TINTED NBM fbody

Please post your PERCENTAGE. I'm trying to find the perfect percentage to use for my tints that I will be getting soon.

I'm looking for how NBMs look with like a 20-35% side window tint and 5-15% rear tint. I've been searching like crazy here and on fquick, but hopefully you guys can help me out.

IMO, black fbodys look great with dark tints but NBM with dark tint make the car look dark and dirty for some reason.

If you live in Illinois, where did u get tinted and how much?

Go 5% 0n the back and 25% on the doors. You just have too keep your windows clean, water spots and dust really stand out on any tint.

BTW.....

Be aware, that the top of the rear window, does not take well to the tint. Our windows have those little black circles in the top 6 - 8 inches of the window. The film does not seal well over these raised circles that are ON the glass, not IN the glass. I have 5% on the rear window. So in the circle area, it looks a little lighter than the rest of the window. It's nothing horrible, but if you're a perfectionist when it comes to your car,(like me) it can be a little annoying any time you see it.

If the tint is on the windows, is it too late to do the vynal overlay?

Thats a good deal.

If you look above to the last camaro picture posted you can kinda see what I am talking about. Closer to the top of the rear window you will see a lighter shade of tint. Thats the circles rejecting the film. His is not bad, but I have seen worse on other F-bodies.

Thanks guys for all the tips especially the vinyl overlay. I'll be out of town in NYC this weekend but hopefully i get more pics so i can make my final decision.

BIG_MIKE2005 I really like how this one looks with 15% all around I might still want a little more lighter like 20% just cause of IL cops.

LastLT1 5% looks awesome on the back

Side notes:
LastLT1 where did u get that camaro insert looks sharp!

DirtyBird222 i did do multiple searches here and fquick, but most people dont show what percentage they have.

Yeah the lower the %, the darker it is. I have a friend with like 2 layers of 2% on each window, it's freakin' ridiculous!

Iv been told that you can still get the overlay. Just ask a tint shop. Iv been told I think for the rear like $40.
