they just pop out, you'll get em out. I wouldn't paint your interior parts, it looks freakin tacky IMO, and thats what most people will tell you on this site, just as a heads up. but seriously, do you want, its your car.

Here's a pic of a painted interior, this guy actually goes to the same college as me, his car is very nice:

On TA's, I used a little screwdriver to help unclip the snap behind the vents. You still have to pull pretty hard, and use some twists etc...

I decided to leave my vents black and paint the bezel.

If you pull that ring out around the vent with the vent still in it, it is a hell of a lot easier to get the vent out then. If you stick a small flat head screwdriver around the edge and gently pry up it will come out. I painted mine, really like how it came out.--Tony

Are we all sure he's talking about the a/c vents? First thing I thought were the vents on T/As behind the front wheels. I've never seen anyone physically paint the actual a/c vents before.

so does that mean mine is tacky? Oh and I'm not at DVC anymore. Cal State EB now thanks for postin the pic man.

Oh and to those who run with the pack and cry that it looks horrible,..... if you take the time to do it right (a lot of time) and you pick colors that don't scream at you, it can look very good.
