the shift boot is from redlinegoods.com, but I help them make a new design for the auto shifter that is shorter and fits better than the one posted above...they are not using that old design anymore.......same price though

To precut the material to fit the panels is nothing compare to the work of wrap all and maintain a good look on the result

I may have missed it but could you tell what type of glue you are using for this, and any updated pics, I am curious to see your finished product.

Then you need to ship them over sea to Sweden......If i was in US i for sure could take your panels and make the job. It is really fun.

How much different does the new design make? Do you know if the recent pics of A4 boot in a Firebird he posted on the other thread are of the new design? May be I should post in that thread instead.

OK time to bring up this thread to live. I'm waiting for my new black carpet, will arrive sometime this month. My new black headliner is in place :-). Pics will be attached later on. I have removed my upper dash pad since it will also be wrapped as soon as I have ordered my some more black vinyl. Since My dash is pretty empty, no console, no instrument cluster bezel, no A-pillar, no kick panels etc…I think I don’t need to remove the dash to have it wrapped in black, and that gentlemen makes me very happy.

Attaching pics on my latest wrapping orgy, lower steering column cover and radio/HVAC bezel.

Nice work Ive been having a bitch of a time finding that 3M glue... Ive tried 4 different adhesives so far, and each time the vinyl begins to peel away in a day or two, so its been a REALLY long project, haha. I guess Ill just have to order the 3M Fastbond online, since it seems like that works very well.

EDIT: Just was rereading your posts.... so youre actually only using the fastbond 30 for the front of the panels, but the 74 spray on for the backside where you wrap it around? Ive been trying to use the 74, but it wont stick to the backside for more than a day, and then it starts to pull away. Are you doing any extra prep to the backside? Ive tried sanding with 300 grit, tried with 600 grit, tried with no prep, tried washing with water, tried washing with soap and water.... whatever i try it only stays attached for maybe a day and then starts to peel away.

I have stoped using the 74 spray, only fastbond everywhere. It was just in the beginning i tried to figure out what path to take. Spray74 is not good for hard plastic and vinyl.

Sorry to bug ya again... but do you have the item or model number for the fastbond? I found another type of fastbond 30, but it wont adhere to the vinyl at all, so im guessing i grabbed the wrong one. And of course most of the label from the can you showed in the picture is missing Haha. Did you get the one designed for plastics? Ive now gone through 4 different glues with no luck... maybe its not meant to be! Haha.

BTW, that new headliner looks awesome. I already have black carpet, and thought the grey headliner would be a nice contrast.... but now seeing the black one, i might have to rethink that!
