Default where can you buy A COWL FOR TA
Where can you buy a cowl hood for a 1998-2002 Trans AM. I see them for camaros but not TA's.

I'm not aware they make cowls for our firebirds I'm just aware they make different variations of ram air hoods.

only 1 i've seen is this months ls1tech calendar car. According to the calendar its from SRT and is a custom hood.

It would seem like a cowl would not flow with the body lines on a TA. I would still like to see a pic of one just to see what it looks like .

that's also the only one i've seen on 98+. i like cowl hoods but it really doesn't match the body lines of the firebirds. they did look a lot better on the 93-97 body IMO.

there's a trans am with a cowl hood running around where I live so somebody has to make one

mine isn't too far from a cowl. see the sig. its just the 5" vfn. i have seen a cowl on a few trans ams though and i didn't like it.

LT1s transams have real cowl hoods


But for LS1s its just the Drag 4inch ram air hood...

It would look good on a LS1 anyways, there to round compared to the LT1
