NEW! Head Plate, AC Plate & Air Lid Plate *PICS*
Here's the newest products from Specialized Stainless for the LS1

Polished / Brushed 20ga Stainless Steel. Simple installation, just bolt the head plate on the passenger head. Only fits on non-EGR equipped LS1's.
AC Dryer Plate http://store.specializedstainless.co.../Detail?no=114
Polished / Brushed 20ga Stainless Steel. Simple installation, just peel the back off the included 3M® Automotive tape and place plate on AC Dryer.
*Etching available.
Air Lid Plate http://store.specializedstainless.co.../Detail?no=112
Polished / Brushed 20ga Stainless Steel. Simple installation, just peel the back off the included 3M® Automotive tape and place plate on air lid.
*Plate is 2" x 7", the perfect size to cover a worn SLP logo. Etching available.

The reason you dont "see" a plate is b/c it looks like a mirror! I was gonna say the same thing, untill I realized I was looking at the backside of the belt assembly

are you able to make the head plate a perfect fit? that one looks to be larger than the end of the head. also...any way to have you drill holes to bolt it in?
if so then i might be VERY interested.

Maybe the pictures look like it's hanging over more than it really is? I didn't think it was that bad so I made a diagram: Green is the original head, Red is my head plate & Yellow shaded area is where the head plate hangs over. This is as good as I can get the head plate, so if you're not happy with it, sorry.
The 3M adhesive tape can stand pretty high temperatures 250-300°F from what I've read. I'll be driving my car around today, so I'll let you know for sure how it does
*UPDATE: I didn't get to drive my car today due to rain but I've decided not to chance it w/ the 3M tape, could fall off if a car overheated or something. So the head plate will have holes and I'll offer optional polished stainless button head bolts
