Default Bye Bye Purple tint...Hello Limo Tint!!!

I just got the car back this morning, so naturally I had to take a few shots before work. I am sooooo happy to get rid of the old tint. I hate it when people have purple tint on their car and I rode around like that for 2 years.

A couple before pictures...

Looks really good..how did they get the tint off the rear glass without damaging the defroster? A tint place told me they couldn't guarantee that they could save the defroster, but yours looks good

Thanks everyone!

I'm pretty sure that they put some type of chemical on it, wrapped it up and let it sit. If you use a razor blade then you risk scrapping off the defroster. Although, I dropped it off one day and picked it up the next so I have no idea what really happened. I just remember them saying that when I talked to them a while ago. The removal cost almost as much as the new tint. But, I didn't want to mess it up myself so I didn't have a problem paying it.

200 isnt that bad for new tint and removval, looks good i have 15% all the way around on my camaro and had 5% on my truck but it was too dark but im thinking about putting another layer on the back of the camaro to make it a lil darker

thats why you never buy crappy tint cause it will always turn purple

I had to take all of the interior out to put the cage in. After I got it back I got the car tinted. Now that I have the car back for a while I'll put all the interior back in.

Gotcha. Been there and done that. I thought you had taken out the interior for weight reduction.

Where were those pics taken? It looks like the Walgreens in the Boyette Springs at the corner of Bell Shoals and Boyette.

lol, people don't get purple tint. It starts black and it turns purple over time because it is poor quality.
