Help: The glue on the Ground Effects is weakening...
The glue that came with the GE's, is starting to separate and not hold them tight to the car. The ground effects were installed just this February, and according to some people the reason why they are not holding up that good is because of the weather??? The kit that I got is the Wings West kit and it comes with its own glue already intact on the ground effects. What I'm thinking of doing is taking the ground effects off and redoing them again, and I'm also going to take off the glue.
So my question is, does anyone know of any glue tape or just plain glue that can hold and won't weaken this fast?

I use screws for the front and rear piece. On the back you have to take the bumper cover off and put the screws in right at the bend on the back side of the cover. For the sides i had to get some new doulbe sided tape. 3M makes a wider tape than wings west uses. It works really well for me. Also make sure that your front fender is even with you rocker panel area. If it is not get a large set of pliers and you can adjust it using the tab infront the frame under the fender.

Make double-dog-sure you have every trace of wax
removed. That's the easiest way to have stuff not
stay stuck, is to neglect surface prep.

I actually called ww for some more tape when I had to re-do one of my rear pieces... they sent 3M double sided tape + 5-7 sticks of primer for free. I also didn't know what they used... its the same stuff your buying.
