Default Custom Fiberglass Dash

This weekend I'm taking the dashpad back out cause it's cracked fairly bad.

I'm gonna fit it back together real nice and fiberglass it. And in the process its gonna delete the defrost vent, making the whole dash pad one big smooth peice.

Anyone have any ideas to make this better? Like maybe a Z28 emblem somewhere or some embossing when I go back over it with vinyl? Or maybe a spot made for my radar or something of the sort? Just gathering ideas.

I wish they had some kind of matte finish rubber coating on the dash pad that would protect it.

Well thats why I'm gonna wrap it in vinyl when I'm done. I'm not gonna spend $200 on a damn dash pad and have it crack again in a few years. I've gotta do something about some defrost vents though.

If you develop a winning plan and implement, market it or let us know how your dash pad turns out. I never even got the opportunity to drive my vehicle before my new, OEM replacement dash pad cracked.

I've already fixed it once, but now my defrost vents are looking bad cause I had to rig them for the winter...

When these guys emboss logos and stuff under vinyl. How do they do it, I've never done it with something quite like this. I may put a Z28 Logo somewhere or something...

Make a place for a wideband and boost/n20 pressure or what ever you may want there...

a place for gauges , a cool looking badge maybe stainless with some color , carputer cutout . i could maybe think of some more stuff out there but it is all on how much you are wanting to do . hell maybe some led lights that light up the dash from the top down where you can not see the actual led itself .
do a write up !
