Default Exhaust tips

There is a "pro" exhaust shop that does good work in my area and I was wanting dual/dual tips but the owner told me that dual/dual tips actually resonate and are louder than a single tip out each side and to just get a oval for each if I was trying to fill up the TA gap....I know it really doesnt matter but with the echo chamber in the rear for the T-tops, I dont need any more resonating.

Thanks

I cant imagine that the tips would make that big a difference. But I could be wrong.

The difference would be very small. Get whatever tips YOU want and what you think looks best.

Another alternative is the ones like Fast Toys sells...I bought mine elsewhere for much cheaper, but they are the same, and they're stainless with rolled edges.

BTW, I have ZERO drone, rasp, whatever, and I can't wait to pop the t-tops off, lol...I have longtubes, ORY, and slp dual/dual muffler

Just go with some dual dual tips. I think they may actually be a little quieter. I had some on my car just for last week, while I was cleaning up my stock rectangle ones. And, I think it's louder with the stockers on there, by a tiny bit. If you are looking for some dual duals, Autozone has some really nice ones that are only $23 a piece. https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/853237-what-tips-these.html.

I'm doing no tips for a while until I can find/afford tips for my 3" system. I'm looking for something like the stock rectangle ones, but polished, and fit a 3" pipe....yea I know, good luck, right?

My experience is that 6x3 inch single wall oval tips are louder than 4 inch double wall single tips and single wall dual tips.
