Default piller triple guage pod question?

I am wanting to get a piller triple gauge pod for my firebird. I was just wondering who makes the best fitting pod? I have ttops. Ive searched and seen some pictures of the autometer pod and it doesnt look like it fits real good? I didnt like how the small vent hole at the bottom is oversized and doesnt fit right? does anyone else make one?

Nobody makes a triple pillar for a hardtop car that I know of anymore. Autometer used to make one but they stopped production a long time ago. You can use the the t-top version but you will have to trim the top of it to fit the hardtop.

I have NO idea who made my triple pod, but it seems to fit "okay" I would prefer a molded one but it works for what it is.

the problem with some of those univeral gauge pods is that the gauges might be slightly angled instead of straight when your looking at them. i have an lt1 camaro that i bought a universal and when i test fit the pod it the gauges werent straight when i looked at them. if you hae a t top car or even a hardtop car just get the autometer triple pod. most people on here i believe are running that one. it goes right over the stock pillar.

Here some picturs of triple gauge pod hope this helps. Probably no gague pod is going to fit perfect but the one I have is damn near perfect. Just dont use the hold in plugs they give you to install it.

I NEED to know who makes this piller pod. It doesnt have the shitty oversized hole for the small vent like the autometer ones do. I know somone else on this forum has to have this pod also?

Default Pillar

I believe this is the exact pillar I have. I am thinking about selling it as I am thinking about putting my gauges in the center vents. The molding doesn't go around the vent for the defroster. It fits quite well. PM me a price and I can see what we can do. I am guessing this will be in the for sale section sometime soon!

I can get pictures tomorrow night if you are interested. I can take pictures with it out and just held in the car.

Is this for a hardtop? If so, I want it.

I just got mine from glowshift still need to find out how to plug in all my sensors

this is for ttop cars and fits nicely on the inside with no knuckle rubbing on the pods like I've seen in others, it only comes in black so I need to paint it to match no big deal. it's gona look great

You got me all excited...but sadly thats for a 3rd gen car.

That will probably be taken out, but if you look under the application tab it shows 82-92 model years.

As far as I know they don't make one and you have to modify the t-top style to make it fit correctly in a hardtop 4th gen car.

hmmmm, my autometer fit perfectly fine. You just have to work with it until you get it right. But thats no different than many other mods.(gauges have been changed out since pic was taken.)
