It seems like Armor All Tire Foam doesn't work as well as Black Magic Wet Tire Foam.

Again, it seems like I have to spray the Armor All Tire Foam on the tires twice to get it a nice black color I like. With the Black Magic, I would only do it once.

Yeah, let me know if you notice a difference. I just starting use the Armor All. Since it was cheaper and in a bigger can than the Black Magic, I wanted to give it a try.

I had been using mcguires gel and then bought the armor all extreme tire shine gel. Mcguire's is much better. I'll have to try black magic, my armor all is pretty well gone.

Meguiars gels? Do they have a tire foam spray?

Do you just wipe it on the tire?

I pour it on this applicator and rub it onto the tire.

The meguiers gel is by far the best out of about ten different products I have tried in the past. It looks amazing, is easy to put on and smells great. LOL

I know. That's why I clean my wheels again with glass cleaner after I use the spray.

What kind of applicator do you use? - a brush or something?

Use water based dressings. Stay away from solvent based tire products. Water based are white-solvent based are clear.

So, you're saying use the gel not that foam spray.

The gel sucks. It flings all over my car and lasts about two days at most. I bought it once because they were out of the spray at Autozone, so I thought i'd try something new. Used it three times and threw it away.

I started with Eagle One spray, then tried my buddy's Black Magic spray, then on a detailer's recommendation, tried Armor All "Detailer's Advantage" spray. That's the one I now use religiously. It's easy to apply, stays shiny until the tires get thoroughly wet (pretty much when I wash the car again), and doesn't fling all over the car. Last fall I actually purchased the regular Armor All "Fierce Shine" spray, and it sucked too. Threw that away after one use. So far, the only one i'm happy with is the "Detailer's Advantage" spray.

If the gel is flinging all over your car you are putting too much on or not letting it "dry" enough. It usually took about a dime size dot on a foam pad to apply them to my old tires. Mine were shiny for about 2-3 weeks depending on how much I drove it.

If I wanted it to be extra shiny I went over them with a second coat. I had a white car and never had problems with the fling.

exactly...You got to let the gel dry. You can't apply and hit the road right after. Mcguire's gel last longer than spray by far. I use a foam piece with a plastic grip (1.00 at autozone) to apply it to the tires.

I had that problem with I a previous gel I had. I would find debri on the tire. Mowed grass etc even after letting it sit for 30 minutes. Mcguire's gel hasn't had that problem, also after waiting thirty minutes to dry.

I love the look of gravel dust on your tires (not the sides) though when they are slicked up. side note..

Quick Reply: It seems like Armor All Tire Foam doesn't work as well as Black Magic Wet Tire Foam.
