id be interested in knowing where he put the upgraded frame rails in the lower part of the car to keep from massive body flexing.

ive always wanted a Targa Camaro, but with out large support, it'd be a horrible car to ride in.

From the searching i did a set of SFC will add enough strength to the ride to accommodate the targa, also for the top i believe someone made a glass roof using the existing ttop holes to attach it to the roof. Though where you would stow the top while driving i have no idea.

There's also an LT1 Firehawk that's done it.

Someone once said they'd make a kit for it but like most things here it never came to be. I'd be the first to buy it if it did come out.

A new carbon fiber roof panel with a carbon kevlar reinforcement was made for the roof, a set of T top latches were pulled off some T tops and bonded to the new top. The original completely carbon fiber top apparently had issues with lifting in the center as the car got up to highway speeds. I would guess that a honeycomb reinforcement would work just as well.

For reinforcing the car itself he added subframe connectors and welded them to the pinch welds along the sides. In the couple years he owned the car he said there was no change.

He never finished it. However, this is the first time I have seen that one on the silver SS
