Default New Photo Shoot 2002 Som Ws6 - !moldings Done - NWS!

I went to a small car show this morning at the local HD dealership and took a few pics (back to back "Best of Show"s BTW!), but the back ground was shitty again so I stopped down town and took some better ones....yeah, I actually drove the car today!

I removed the side moldings this past week and its amazing how much it cleaned the body lines up! Also this is probably the first time a lot of you are seeing it since its been lowered....my post last weekend in here was moved to the suspension section I guess because I mentioned Stanos in the title!

Enjoy....or not if you dont like it:

And while at the show my flux capacitor started acting up...lucky for me a pair of GM Techs were there to fix it!

(I have lots more pics I will post later if I dont get in trouble for this one!)

Yeah, Strano springs and KYB AGX shocks. It looks low because the wheels and tires are big (19s) and fill up the wheel wells...so its a matter of perspective. The car itself only sits 3/4in lower at the door than a stock one does.

Dam! I just have to ask, What brand of tire shine do you use? Everytime I see pics of your car the dam tires are always so shiney. Awesome car BTW.

I use Zaion Tire Dressing then go over them with Meguiar's NXT Extream Tire Shine....its the only non-Zaino product I use. Its in a spray can and goes on easy and doesnt sling off going down the road. Its a matter of taste some people prefer a natural looking less shiney tire (in which case the Zaino Tire Dressing is perfect by itself, but at shows I like the tires to shine as much as the car so I add the NXT.

Never...CETAs only looks good on a very few colors to me and SOM is not one of them.

Actually the last few mods were done to work together. I would not have lowered the car had the 19 CCWs basicaly required it...well that or a pair nerf bars and brush guard. And I like the moldings removed on a lowered car but not a stock suspension car...so with it lowered they came off. The good thing is I can still put it back stock in a long....real long weekend!
