My ram air decal is peeling off my hood so I was thinking of something different to do than just the original stuff. So this is what I can up with so far. My car is black so thats why the back round is black. Was thinking three layers of stripes going from thickest to thin. The front of the hood is taller so the stripes would be wider in the front. I used microsoft paint so its not that great of a sketch but you get the idea. The colors would probably be dark charcoal into a dark gray and silver or gray or silver something like that. Inputs please. VOTE

i do like the decals as they make the hood more noticeable in my opinion... sometimes its kinda hard to see the scoops sticking up from the side but with decals on there you can definitely tell its there... however i do not like decals that point out the obvious such as "ram air" "ls1" and so on... maybe come up with something more original and get it custom made or just a solid stripe might work also

I vote yes. Dare to be different. If it comes out looking like crap, you can always rip it off and start over. Thats the beauty of vinyl. The 346 or the LS1 ideas dont look that bad imo. All in all, if you decide to take it off your only out on the cost of the vinyl which should be a ball park figure of around $30-$60 bucks.

I'm gonna do it like you said its just vinyl it can be removed. But its going to be a little different that the picture.

I like the last decal idea with the Ram Air and the 3 tone stripe. Be different.

Its getting installed wednesday. Only 60 dallars so if I done like it i'm gonna go with solid racing stripes.
