I think the height on the LT1 spoiler is different (smaller), and the most noticable differences are the posts in the middle of the LS1 spoiler, and the brake light is different

Correct me if I am wrong, but the newer ones have LED's.

Yeah my third brake light has LED's. I personally think the LS1 SS one looks the best but some don't like the pillars so they go with the LT1 or the Mecham.

all of the differences have been noted...but ill throw in my .02

i got the LT1 style spoiler because everyone and their mothers uncle has the LS1 spoiler. also, since i dont have an SS, i felt it was nice since its only slightly different than a normal one.

I like them all really. I have thought about swapping mine for the Mecham or LT1 spoiler...but I can't justify the $$ for a new spoiler when I have a perfectly good one already.

And the LS1 and Mecham have LEDs. The LT1 is bulbs

Both of those are true. It seems like everyone does have a LS1 SS spoiler but thats because they look good and yeah some don't want to look like a SS copy cat. I can tell you you notice a huge difference when looking at both the rears of my SS and my dad's 96 SS.
