No, it IS a true Targa Top if you choose to cut the t-bar out (which we are also making a kit for). However if you don't you can use it instead of your t-tops...

It even flows better on birds with a ws6 hood or ram air style hood.

That does look awesome on the t/a, but what about making a kit to turn the fbody into a true 2 seater, I was thinking maybe some sort of backing that goes all the way to the roof, then make the hump in the back flat and put some storage behind the seat, either for components, or a spare tire etc. Then there will be plenty of room in the back to put the roof.

Been done before and to be honest it looks hideous, just a crap load of plywood and carpet

C'mon man, you have to at LEAST read the first page... 4th friggin post.

Guys and gals, READ THE THREAD. The reason these threads get so long and un-readable (sp) is because people don't read them and the same questions get asked over and over and answered over and over...

i understand you said it was going to latch like factory

"It will also latch down like a factory t-tops, be made out of fiberglass (carbon fiber is NOT cost effective and will NOT happen), and be made so you can use it WITHOUT cutting out the factory t-bar "

but what you didnt say is if there was going to be any TRIM under the targa to help it BLEND with the interior ie trim panels and seals from our t-tops to make it work/ blend well look like a factory peice i am just asking questions and tossing out ideas to mabye help you make the product better thats all you dont have to bash..... i read all that looked at the pics...tossed out an idea... thats it......... because if it didnt have a cover peice for the rod linkage i know i wouldnt buy it because it would look tacky thats all so if tabs brackets were molded so you could use the factory trim off your t-tops it would be a cool idea

Gotcha. I meant you will re-use all your factory stuff, trim pieces included

^^Once in production we could easily sell just skins... Would work on making a kit for hardtop conversions if enough interest.

Bro, no opffense ,but I've had my ebay grill for over 2 years and its like new. I'm actully buying one for my GF's Z. I didnt mean to bash or anything. I can see where the grills are being powdercoated and have emblems can increase the value, but 130.00 still sounds way too much for a plain grill. 130.00 doesent sound bad for a "Powdercoated grill With a emblem"though...

All I'm doing is quoting the sites:

http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...ath=235_83_347

and Stull here:

http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/cambilgril19.html

You made your point, you love your cheap Ebay grille. I've had bad experience with them and don't feel comfortable selling them to the public.

At that point, when people are paying ME for a product, it is MY reputation on the line, not the ebay vendor's.

Not to mention, GMMG used Stull, GMMG used a certain year emblem, if you notice the title, I am setting out to offer what GMMG made to the best of my ability...

How the hell could I charge $130 for a grill that costs me $120 (if I order 10 or less, $110 if I order 11-20) and an emblem that is $60 + shipping???

its a fair price get off his back, he shouldn't have to defend himself. do you go to walmart and tell them you can get **** cheaper on ebay! i was gonna spend 200 plus on a slp bowtie grill eventually so 200 some doesnt bother me. just gotta sell some stuff and decide if i want to paint behind there black...
