My New Aluminum Interior Dash Kit!
I know some people don't like these, but once I knew I was buying my gauges (silver trim) I knew the dash kit would fit in quite nicely. This was the answer to my need to make my interior a little more classy.. I like it
Sorry for the crappy pics, Camera phone haha.
I also didn't put in all the pieces, a pair of them fit horribly and I just didn't like how they looked, so I kept them out.

I like seeing people do custom work to their cars, whatever it may be, but I have to agree that it looks cheaper. Kinda looks ricerish IMO. Again, I don't fault you for actually doing something to your car in comparison to some of my friends who pay people to do every little thing to their cars.

Well at least most people on this board are nice enough to be gentle when they disagree. Usually it's "holy sh*t that looks like crap sell you car and get a civic......" etc.
I'll give you props for doing whatever you like to your own car, but I've never liked the looks of those on F-Body's. They just don't seem to flow with the rest of the interior.

I'll say less is more, but I'm not against aluminum or CF in the interior done in the right context. You slapped it on top of plastic and you were unhappy with some of the fit yourself. How happy are you really with it? I have billet aluminum pieces that replace not stick on top of existing pieces. They cost $$$ but they are a worthy upgrade interior wise.

It's kinda weird, some of the pieces sit perfectly flush, and some of them you can see how they stick up a little bit. To me, I don't see how the AC vent trim is any different then the chrome vent rings. They both stick on top of something. I have to say though I might take the one of the center console, i'm not so sure if I like how it fits. It's only been on for a day so i'm gonna keep going out to it and see which pieces I like and which I don't.. So I think i'll either take one or two pieces off I have in mind, or just everything except the AC/vent trim. Those I like.
And the people that are hiding on the board that actually say crap like, you suck, omg thats awful you ricer go buy a honda, etc. are just completely childish. Not that any of you said that, just saying..
Doesn't change how fast i move!
Oh yeah, i'd definitely rather this than using a rattle can. That to me would be more tacky, imo
