Both are good options.....I vote Yank since that's all I've ever run, but there are a lot of happy Circle D users on here. Yank's having a nice sale for the month of October, check it out.

I like the 4C for a great hitting converter that still has very nice street manors. It is rated at 3800-4000. It does hit pretty hard, so need some good tires. Are you running stock gears? You said might stay NA, what are the possibilities.

If you're planning on staying N/A for a while, but maybe spraying a little down the road take a look at the Yank SS4000.

No secret here. I would take Circle D hands down. I loved the 4C for comfortable street manners that puts down the numbers at the track. I really loved the 5C, but my rear bumper didn't.LOL. It's the highest quality converter you'll find and customer service to back it up.

It's a no brainer really. Spend your money right the first time.

Keep us updated!

I had a TCI 3000 that had great street manners and worked great at the track. I ran it for three years, never any problems, and I loved it. Because of clutch failure fears, I went to a Yank SS3600 and it feels about the same in town - only slightly looser. It's a great converter and I love it even more.

how much is a yank ss 4000?

i was told by people on this site a good converter was around 500 dollars. i called yank and they want 750 4 it. seems very pricey.
also does anyone know what it cost 2 install 410 gears. a shop told me 450 yesterday 2 install mine.

yank ss 4000 with 410s would be a good diffrence in my ls1. also im getting a fast intake and throttle body combo so thats whats really draining my cash.

4.10's and a high stall in an auto = no traction on the street (Ever).
