Default What trans for my car?

I'm wanting to go auto. I can't be consistant with the m6, The car is an 02 SS, 6.0 iron, l92 heads, gmpp intake, 228 232 600/630 112lsa. running 150 wet carb style plate kit. Has a Moser 12bolt with 4.10's but i can change to whatever. Car is full weight, 3400lbs. Not a dd and not a full racer, just something to play with. What trans do ya'll recommend and what stall? I have a buddy with a built th350 with trans brake that he will sell me.

for your setup i think a properly built 4L60E from FLT, PERFORMABUILT, or circle D would help you out. just make sure you get your tranny built right the first time. also, i think a good all around stall is atleast a 3500 stall.

With your set up and bottle, and the right convertor you don't need 4:10s. Buddy just toasted his fully built 4L60E from a sponsor here with his full weight L92 headed nitrous car. Not the builders fault, since he knew at that power level it was time to upgrade to a 400 anyway.
