It's about 5.5 hrs labor for removing and replacing, I think it's right around $400.

My experience with what customers have told me is it varies wildly West coast seems to be highest at 600-800 and east coast lowest in the 300-500 range

We'd be just shy of $500 at the shop.

Thanks to those that responded.

Tell me, the figures quoted above, did this include cooler flush, fluids, swapping bellhousing?

Kind of what I thought. That is about what I am being quoted but it's plus about 11 quarts of fluid so it is closer to $700.

Me and a buddy pulled mine and put it back in one time total about 4 hours.

Wow thats a lot of money. Me and my friend R&R one in a day, changed the stall and installed the cooler too. Neither of us have ever done it before either. It's not easy, but you feel good if you do it yourself.

Good luck with whatever you do.

The first time was a pain, but next time will be much simpler. If you have regular tools, some long extensions, a jack and jackstands it can be done in less than a day even if your working at the speed of turtle
