JUST ORDERED A TCI4400 OK GUYS IM JUST WONDERING WHAT GAINS I SHOULD BE EXPECTING FROM THIS CONVERTER, THIS PAST WEEKEND I RAN A 12.1 AT A 116MPH ON A STOCK CONVERTER. WHAT POWER GAINS SHOULD I BE EXPECTING FROM THIS TCI4400, THANKS.
Re: JUST ORDERED A TCI4400 depends on what suspension mods and tires your running...if you hook with that mph you might run a mid 11 if you dont hook you might spin them through 1st 2nd and 3rd gears and run a 15.XX@110mph lol Tell us your combo and what your 60's were with the previos times that will give us a starting point.

Re: JUST ORDERED A TCI4400 OK I USED TO HAVE THE MTI STAGE 2 HEADS WITH THE T1 CAM, LS6 INTAKE, MTI LID, 3600VIG, 373GEARS, MAC MID-LENGTH HEADERS RUNNING ON 15X3FRONT AND 15X8BACK PROSTARS ON ET STREETS. I DYNOED 398RW HORSES AND RAN AN 11.80 AT 115MPH WITH A 60FT OF 1.55(SEC) ON A STOCK REAREND.
I NOW HAVE THE 382 MTI STROKER WITH THE R1 CAM AND ALL BOLTONS MENTIONED ABOVE, EXCEPT FOR THE 3600VIG, MY TRANNY WENT OUT ALONG WITH MY CONVERTER SO I PUT THE STOCK ONE BACK IN. I RAN THE CAR WITH THE STROKER AND STOCK CONVERTER AND WENT A 12.1 AT 116MPH WITH A 60FT OF 1.9SEC ON 18in WHEELS, I STILL HAVE THE STOCK REAR END.

If it was me, I would want low low 11s in bad weather with a 382 and easy 10s in decent weather.

Re: JUST ORDERED A TCI4400 i agree with quick ws6 with some decent hook you should cut some low 1.5's high 1.4's meaning youd cut at least a full second off your time right now so figure in the same weather probably an 11.1-11.4@118 or so.
Re: JUST ORDERED A TCI4400 I ran a 11.4 @ 116 with a 1.54 60'. It spun out of the hole and I floated the valves on the top end pretty bad. Can't wait til my new heads get here. I would guess 11.1 @ 120 maybe dip into the 10's with some great traction and cooler weather.

Re: JUST ORDERED A TCI4400 With the mods and the 4400 i really hope i can break into the low 11s, at least in the 11.3s or better. without the stroker and with a 3600 i was cutting really good 60fts but something was killing me top end, i would be hitting constant 1.55s 1.56s at an 11.8
