pt 3800 with a procharger...
i currently have a pt 3800 2.0 str stall. i only have had it in the car for a few hundred miles, thus it is staying in there. i recently ordered a procharger. how do you think this stall will work? i know it isn't ideal necessarily but it is staying in the car for now. it is a full bolt on car, 3.42's, 317 ported heads, custom cam and probably around 8lbs of boost or so. i am just looking for some opinions.

well that is good that i will like it. i will be below 10lbs. i am on a stock bottom end for now so i don't want to be pushing my limits.
i do like the pt3800. with 3.23 gears and a full weight car i am pulling around 1.65-1.7 60-ft times. i know this is nothing to brag about but it was a nice gain over stock. i know this isn't the hardest hitting stall on the market. i actually wasn't even expecting it to pull 1.70's with the 2.0 str combined with my gears/weight. i went from 12.6x with the stock stall to 11.80 with the yank. at the same time i did switch brands of long tube headers and y-pipe but that shouldn't have made much difference. so, i picked up a solid 8 tenths. overall i do like it and i don't have any complaints. i am wondering if a different stall would have got me better gains????? i don't know if one of their SS or even the pt 4000 would have netted me better time. i was kind of hoping for 11.9 and i pulled better than that the first night out. i have only been to the track one time so it is possible that i could even pull a little better. i am putting 3.42's in it shortly. i have them at the house already. i don't think they will make much difference but i have them so i might as well use them.
