Default Other converters than Yank, Protorque for Corvette?

searching around to see if there are any other good converters out there other than yank and protorque. I'm looking to get a little bigger one while my tranny gets rebuilt.

This is for a C5..

While I didn't know that TCI builds C5 converters, they are a sponsor here, some of our other sponsors sell their converters, and there's been much written about them in this forum this year. A search for TCI should return alot of good information.

I got my converter from Phoenix Transmissions. Nice unit, and not a bad price ($319), got it here within a week.

Check out TCI's site---> should contain some helpful information about what you need, VIG's are pretty good converters but I have heard that they have a higher than advertised "flash stall" Good Luck

BayouVette,
We have quite a selection of converters for C5s. A part number 243105 would be a great choice for a mild 3000 stall converter. It would drop 4 tenths off your quarter mile ET, and would remove several pounds of rotating weight from your car as well. If you want something a little more agressive, get the 3500 stall converter, part number 243110. It hits hard and we do recommend some sticky tires with this converter. Feel free to email me or give me a call if you have any questions.

This is for a C5..
I've got a PY3600E or and a Pro TQ 3000 if your interested in a slightly used one. PY has less than 2k miles and the ProTQ has about 1k on it. Both come with their original boxes
