Question 4l60E wont shift at WOT!!

I have seen a couple threads about the same thing, The tranny shifts perfect at regular speeds and 1/2 throttle but when i go at WOT it wont shift at all. I took it to a local tuner already & its still doing the same. My question is that when he was messing around with the tune he was able to make it shift with his laptop, he told me that he had to "FORCE THE SHIFT" & it worked good. Is it the tranny for sure?

If he was able to force the shift with his tuner then the issue is not with the trans but rather the car, I have seen this a few times its particularly common with the 98 model year in particular. I do not know the solution some have found the issue with the tps was a problem something to look into

Setting the WOT shift can be touchy.Expecially if it has a converter and deeper rear gears.

I was also thinking it can be the tune. I had the pcm scanned & it picked up a bad TPS & got that changed with a new one. It doesnt read anymore sensors so I was thinking it was the Tune.. What do you guy think?

try adjusting your throttle cable and checking your TPS voltage.
