Default TH400 swap, what stall?

I'm in the process swapping out my 6 speed and installing a rossler th400. I'm trying to figure out what stall I will need. The car is used 90% at the drag strip, I drive it to and from the track and once in a while on the weekends. The car weighs 3,000 lbs with me in it. The last time I dynoed the car, it made 485rwhp/421rwtq, that was with the 6 speed. Since then I have installed a moser 9" with 4.10 gears, and an HSW wet kit which I'll be spraying a 100 shot. The camshaft is a MS4 239/242, .649"/.609" 111LSA. The rev limiter is set at 6,800. With the 6 speed, I was coming out of the hole at 6,700 rpm. I assume on the nitrous and with the auto I will be leaving a bit lower than that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

get one custom built for your setup. i feel you have less breathing room with the th400, with the long 1st gear. you gotta get it right on the money.

if i had to guess you might be able to pull off a 4000 with a 28" tire on spray, be close with those gears.

im running a yank 3800, 3.42 gear, 26" tire, 150whp shot, crosses the line around 6500rpm 130mph. dead on the money for my setup- ms3 cam only

another vote for Greg at FTI. he will walk through everything with building the right one for you and get you exactly what your car needs. He recommended me a 4600 but I went with about a 4200. It's going in soon.

01 sscam Let me know how it turns out. We are able to build converters that will stall and hve exceptional efficiency. this is part of the reason that our cars run the way we do.
